Nestling in the unspoilt Howgills, between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Green Barn Cottages are three very special cottages in a conversion of a Victorian stone barn. In a beautiful rural location close to the village of Ravenstonedale with its two pub/restaurants and village shop, the cottages are furnished and equipped to a high standard with superking beds, whirlpool baths, good showers and underfloor heating, and logburning stoves for an extra cosy or romantic touch. The Haystore and The Byre are Five Star and both sleep four in double or twin ensuite bedrooms, The Carthouse is Four Star Gold Award and sleeps six in three double or twin bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, and the area is a haven for walkers and lovers of wildlife, with daily visits from Red Squirrels. There’s plenty to see and do locally, with the attraction of the Settle to Carlisle railway from nearby Kirkby Stephen, and the Lakes and Dales nearby.
