Bookham Court offers four luxury self-catering cottages in an area of outstanding natural beauty and panoramic views over Thomas Hardys' Blackmore Vale. The cottages are equipped to a high standard and sleep four to eight people, together with the use of a games room that contains snooker and table tennis. View badgers, owls, deer and rare birds of prey from the grounds and from our own wildlife hide. There is also a fishing lake for course fishing. Inside the cottages guests will find such features as inglenook fireplaces, wood burners and original exposed beams, as well as underfloor heating and a good selection of garden furniture for full appreciation of the warmer months and exceptional views. Dogs accepted.

| Local directions: | Bookham Court is situated off the B3143, 9 miles north of Dorchester and 12 miles south of Sherborne. From the south turn right 0.75 miles out of Alton Pancras and from the north turn left a mile out of Buckland Newton (at the Bookham Court and Farmhouse Accommodation signs). Crowthorne Cottage is situated on the second bend. For Great Coombe, Little Coombe and the Wagon House, proceed up the hill, down the other side and the cottages are on the right hand side at the bottom of the hill. |
