Twelve Restaurant and lounge bar is a chic, contemporary space set beneath the sails of an 18th century Marsh Mill Windmill in Thornton Cleveleys. The industrial metal beams and exposed brick walls combine with clean wooden floor, designer chairs and leather banquettes to provide a stylish, modern setting for excellent, locally sourced food. The set ‘market’and ‘something for the weekend’ menus offer good value and include complimentary canapés and homemade breads. You’ll find beautiful served dishes like Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire cheese rarebit with a tomato salad and basil pesto, deep sea hake with a parmesan crust and steamed mussels, and sherry fruit trifle with brandy snap crackling to finish. The super stylish cocktail bar serves a bar menu with sandwiches, salads, hot food like beer battered fish and chips.

Local Directions: Leave the M55 at junction 3 sign posted Fleetwood. Follow the A585 (Fleetwood) for approximately 8 miles until reaching the third roundabout (landmark - Morrison’s supermarket). Marsh mill is signposted from here, turn right onto Victoria Road East and the entrance to the complex is approximately ½ a mile on the left (the next turn after Thornton Cleveleys leisure centre). There is plenty of free car parking at marsh mill village. Twelve is located in the shadow of the windmill – just follow the sails.
