Beneath the classic Tudor facade hides the Fusions Brasserie offering freshly prepared gastro pub fare. The restaurant is decorated in cool, mossy greens with polished wood tables and dark leather chairs creating a slick, contemporary look. A baked field mushroom filled with traditional tangy Welsh rarebit topped with crisp Carmarthen ham or Wynnstays homemade smokies (a smoked haddock, boiled egg and risotto rice combo) could start the proceedings. Char-grilled pork tenderloin with black pudding mash and a stilton sauce or pot roasted Welsh lamb shank with bubble and squeak and a red wine sauce could follow. Fish fans can enjoy a rich seafood thermidor topped with glazed cheese. In addition to the regular menu there are daily specials and several vegetarian options available.
