The award-winning Walpole Arms is located in a charming red brick 18th century inn near to the beaches of the North Norfolk coast. Light wooden beams and pale walls create an airy atmosphere in the fine dining restaurant, which sports its own entrance and bar. The kitchen has a philosophy of choosing suppliers, local whenever possible, who will supply them with the finest seasonal ingredients to create a modern European cuisine. Daily changing menus might feature a starter of escabeche of red mullet with pine nuts, sultanas and butter beans followed by a confit of Gressingham duck leg with borlotti beans, chorizo, fennel and tomato. The wine list is extensive with a great selection form new and old worlds. Beautiful gardens offer the chance of al fresco dining.
