The Three Mariners is a quaint old pub in the village of Oare, close to the historic market town of Faversham. Offering a range of tasty, home-cooked meals using in season and local ingredients – The Three Mariners specialises in freshly caught seafood dishes. Enjoy the potted brown shrimps with cucumber and crème fraiche to start before digging in to the wild sea bass with pepper puree and new potatoes. The decor is charming and understated, with wooden beams, a neutral colour scheme, linen-free tables, wooden floors and a beautiful open log fire. When the weather is fine, there is a large terrace and garden from which to enjoy a peaceful pint of Shepherd’s Neame beer or a one of the pub’s good wine offerings.
