The Three Lions is a converted farmhouse offering dining and luxury accommodation which is accessible to all, including families, dog lovers and the less mobile. Located in the hamlet of Stuckton on the edge of the New Forest, al fresco dining here offers views of the well-kept gardens and forest beyond. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, there are no printed menus instead a simple blackboard displays the day’s specials like fresh asparagus and wild mushrooms, smoked haddock galettte, casseroled partridge or wild turbot with saffron sauce. The dishes are all beautifully presented and created using good quality, local produce most of it organic. To accompany, pick a beauty from the extensive wine list which includes some well-known names and some lesser known fantastic finds.
