The Perch Inn is a 17th century thatched inn set in the village of Binsley, which is said to be the inspiration for Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Located on the River Thames and boasting its own moorings, The Perch Inn is a popular stop for walkers, boaters or those simply seeking an escape from the city. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy with comfy sofas, open fires, Chesterfields and the scent of freshly cut flowers. Outside there is a BBQ, marquee and pretty garden. The food is locally sourced where possible and served with a French twist, start with the Pressed Ham Hock Terrine and Slow Braised Shallots or Steamed Cornish Mussels with Curry Broth before enjoying the Steak Tartare or Breast of Barbary Duck.
