The Neptune is an award-winning restaurant with rooms located in a mellow red brick, ivy covered former coaching inn close to the beach. Pale painted walls, nautical artefacts, cream Lloyd Loom furniture and crisply laid tables combine to make the airy dining room a pleasant venue for fine dining. The kitchen, run by Kevin Mangeolles, produces imaginative and well crafted modern British cuisine using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible including Brancaster mussels and Sedgeford lamb. A starter such as Poached Norfolk Lobster in it's own Jelly, Pea puree & Lobster croquettes may be followed by Fillet of Sea Trout with Avocado, Sea Herbs & Crab Consomme. The wine list is extensive and very well chosen.
