Seasonality and provenance are at the forefront of this modern British menu. The a la carte menu includes 'Totally Devon' selections in bold print which use local ingredients. This could include Vulscombe goat’s cheese mousse with parmesan and basil to start, Creedy Carver duck breast with figs and orange for main and finish with a classic brulee with sloe gin and poached pear. These local treasures can be enjoyed in the carefree restaurant with its comfortable leather chairs or in the equally chilled out bar which offers traditional pub grub such as the ubiquitous bangers served with mustard mash, parsnip crisps and fresh seasonal vegetables. The extensive wine list is grouped by style and flavour rather than region to help guests choose a wine to accompany their meal.
