It used to be that you'd have to go to Paris to enjoy the romance of great food in a railway station, with the promise of new and exciting destinations to add savour to your meal. But that's all changed with the magnificent restoration of St Pancras and the opening of this British brasserie and bar by double Michelin star winning chef Marcus Wareing. The limestone pillars and ornate ceilings of the former Midland Grand Hotel have been retained, providing a grand setting for dishes such as a modern take on spicy Mulligatawny soup served with quali and onion rings and Lake District rib of beef for two with bone marrow and red wine sauce. An inventive cocktail in the stunning bar is a must.
