The George and Dragon offers modern British cuisine in a tranquil environment. The natural tones and general airiness of the place lend the pub a Zen quality whether relaxing on one of the leather sofas in the bar area or eating in the restaurant. Fish and crustacea are popular bedfellows on the specials menu. You could ease into your meal with meltingly soft roes pan fried with parsley butter on toasted brioche.
