Set in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint in the South Downs, the Fig Tree Restaurant is a hit with locals and visitors alike. Run by husband and wife team, David and Monika Beaty, this little gem of a restaurant is hugely welcoming and serves beautifully presented locally sourced food from a menu which changes frequently and could include Rabbit and Pigeon Terrine, or Venison served with Bubble and Squeak. The wine is supplied by a local independent wine merchant. Sunday Lunch Roast with all the trimmings is renowned and smaller child portions are available. The service is excellent and represents good value, making the Fig Tree an ideal spot for a special occasion or for when you simply fancy celebrating it being Friday.
