The Curry Corner

This family run Bangladeshi restaurant has been serving authentic food for 35 years. The Krori’s are as passionate about local produce as they are the cuisine of their homeland and use Newent chicken, free range Cotswold farm eggs, rare breed meat and make bread from locally milled organic flour. Celebrities including Rick Stein, Michael Palin and Sir Richard Branson rave about the intimate restaurant with its antique carvings, and vintage sari bolsters. The menu might include raan gusht (lamb shank marinated in aromatic spices served with masala mashed potatoes) garlic and orange duck curry and sweet and spicy honey chicken curry, all made with freshly ground spices to ensure maximum flavour. In addition to the Bangladeshi specialities, the 'Travel India Changing Menu' reflects the many regional flavours of India.
