The Crown in the picturesque village of Stoke-by-Nayland is just a 90 minute drive from London. Offering boutique, yet affordably indulgent rooms, well-presented bistro food and an array of good drinking options and located in the midst of an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Crown is the perfect getaway. The 16th century pub has an intimate, relaxed interior and modern dining room with a couple of cosy corners. When the weather is fine there is a choice of outdoor seating areas. The fish board reflects the catch of the day and depending on the season and day may include grilled fillet of teriyaki salmon with pak choi, tenderstem brocolli, fresh ginger and chili alongside the old favourite beer battered haddock, homemade tartare sauce and thick cut chips.
