Acclaimed Chef Aiden Bryne is the former head chef of The Grill at The Dorchester who left fine dining in London to take over the reigns of this top notch country pub, complete with restaurant, nine guest rooms and a large heated, decked terrace which enjoys views of the Church Green the pub was named after. Byrne serves up good British food on the separate bar menu offering pub classics with a gourmet twist like Church Green 10oz burger served with hand cut chips cooked in beef dripping and rare bavette steak sandwiches. For a real culinary treat enjoy the a la carte or seven course tasting menus which offer a fine dining experience and great flavour combinations like the roasted langoustine with white asparagus, peanuts and spiced chicken.
