The Butcher’s Arms is a traditional country pub, with two bedrooms, in the countryside near Gloucester. Oak beams, wooden settles and cast iron tables create a genuine pub atmosphere. There is a small restaurant seating 12 people, which provides a fine dining experience. The kitchen carefully sources local fresh produce such as aged rib of Hereford beef, local lamb and middle white pork from a nearby farm. Fresh day boat fish arrives daily from the Cornish coast, and wild salmon from the nearby Avon occasionally makes a guest appearance. A creative menu provides such dishes as Bath chaps with crackling and Bramley sauce or wild Cornish brill with lobster ravioli and buttered chard. Traditional and local real ales are served straight from the cask.
