The Bell Hotel

This historic coaching inn turned boutique hotel offers a range of drinking and dining options from drinks in the Suffolk Punch Bar, informal seasonal food in the relaxed Parlour and fine dining in the acclaimed Butterflies restaurant. Most of the food and drink is sourced from within 10 miles and used to create a mix of classic and contemporary dishes with a distinctly international influence. Among the starters may be chilled gazpacho, terrine of chicken with foie gras served with a truffle vinaigrette salad while main courses may include fillet of bream with pak choi and wild mushrooms and spiced lemon grass broth or rump of lamb with fondant potatoes, spring greens and red wine sauce.
