If ever a single restaurant could dispel the myth that vegetarian food is boring and stodgy then Terre a Terre is it. The clean and simple interior and stripped wood tables belie the multifaceted menu. Start with Uttapam (red onion and curry leaf Indian crumpet topped with coconut and coriander seed butter and ginger pickle jam) or Baby Batters (soft buttermilk soaked halloumi dipped in chip shop batter, served with a mini Bloody Mary). Mains could include the oriental inspired Pimped Potsticker , a savoury dumpling, served with szechuan stir fry including bok choy, edamame and snow pea, finished with edamame, cashew and yuzu pesto. Decadent desserts include sugar spice dusted doughnut straws served with sticky dipping chocolate and vodka marinated cherries.
