The Saveur is a fine dining establishment with a hotel on the high street of the pretty village of Codicote, 7 miles south of Hitchin. The kitchen creates French dishes using the freshest of ingredients, the source of which are clearly detailed on the menu. The Baked Hand Dived Scallops used in Coquille St Jacques a la Normande, are collected from the coast of Cornwall while the Wild Mushrooms for the Champignons Sauvage et Cashel Blue are sourced from responsible suppliers in France. Saveur is an undiscovered gem that represents good value for money considering the quality and presentation of the dishes.
