Sasso’s is located in an unobtrusive basement in Prince’s Square, Harrogate. Soft tones of taupe and beige, slick pale wood furniture and interesting works of art on the walls make for a cool contemporary atmosphere. Stefano Lancellotti, chef and co proprietor, uses the finest and freshest ingredients to create an authentic Italian cuisine based on the specialities of his home in Emilia Romagna which include homemade fresh egg pasta. ravioli filled with lamb, aubergine and fresh thyme served in a Piedmontese roasted yellow pepper with garlic and anchovy sauce might be followed by monkfish in a creamy porcini and truffle sauce, with crispy prosciutto. There is a 50-bin wine cellar that offers a great choice of fine Italian wines and includes some French classics.
