The Roade House restaurant is located in a former pub and schoolhouse. Dark oak beams contrast with cream walls, pale wicker chairs and tables laid with crisp white linen to create an bright and airy atmosphere in the restaurant. Only the freshest ingredients, including locally sourced seasonal produce, are used to create a cuisine that reflects flavours from many parts of the world whilst paying homage to classic French techniques. Starters of Moroccan style gurnard with couscous or linguine with prawns, garlic, chilli, mint and lime juice together with main courses of roast breast of Gressingham duck, confit duck samosa with Chinese style sauce or grilled fillet of sea trout, pak choi, baked potatoes with beurre blanc clearly illustrate the globetrotting style.
