Critically acclaimed for its fresh, local seafood, the Riverside Restaurant’s ethos of sustainability and simplicity ensures sustainable fish stocks are always the star of the show. Whole fish dishes are grilled on the bone with minimal embellishments - just sea salt, lemon and a little butter is added. The Riverside Restaurant holds a sustainability log at reception and 90% of the restaurant’s supplies are local. The menu changes daily and may include Lyme Bay Dressed Crab with Homemade Mayonnaise to start, followed by Grilled Local Channel Lobster. The Riverside Restaurant is set in the centre of West Bay on the Jurassic Coast, a mile from the market town of Bridport. It’s an unpretentious establishment with fantastic views of the River Brit and neighbouring countryside.
