In a Chelsea townhouse tastefully adorned with Indian objets d’art, chef-proprietor Vineet Bhatia and his team pride themselves on their hospitality, so much so you feel like you have walked into someone’s home. The modern Indian food is equally charming. You could indulge in tandoori lobster infused with wasabi and curry leaf served with lentil lobster soup and a flaked rice and chestnut salad to start. A smoked spiced lamb fillet served with dosa potatoes and a lamb and morel korma for a main demonstrates Indian food can be delivered with incredible finesse. Serious chocoholics may want to try the Rasoi chocolate craving dessert which includes a warm chocolate marbled samosa and a cumin-hazelnut chocolate fondant.
