Racine, 239 Brompton Road, London, London

Racine is home to Henry Harris, one of London's finest chefs who aims to recreate the classic French neighbourhood restaurant in London’s Mayfair. Tables are simply attired in white tablecloths while dark brown leather banquettes and walnut chairs complete the bistro feel. Waiting staff are efficient and eager to please. Expect to find dishes such as seared foie gras, brioche beignet and sauté peach to start with the signature grilled rabbit with mustard sauce and smoked bacon to follow. A côte de boeuf of O’Shea’s of Knightsbridge 44 day hung Black Angus beef is a treat not to be missed. Conclude your meal with a deliciously rich petit pot au chocolat. The diverse wine list offers many wines by the glass.
