Nestled in 21 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland within Snowdonia National Park, Penmaenuchaf Hall offers visitor and opportunity to experience gourmet food and fine wines in a spectacular setting. The classy garden room restaurant has wood panelling, Welsh slate floors and gothic windows with views over the grounds. The opulent surroundings are equalled by a lavish menu. A boudin of confit duck and foie gras with onion compote may begin proceedings followed by a tender fillet of Welsh Black beef with truffle purée, wild mushrooms, baby vegetables and a port wine sauce. Desserts are equally impressive and could include a poached pear with a delicate pistachio tuille and smooth mascarpone sorbet. There is an exemplary wine list covering a broad spectrum of wines.
