The Plockton Inn is a cosy pub in the village of Plockton in National Trust land, 3 miles from Duncraig castle. Its loch side location gives The Plockton Inn easy access to freshly caught fish of the day and it makes good use of its own smoker to cure the fresh salmon that comes into the harbour. The menu includes aked lemon sole with herb butter, thai mussels, fillet of salmon with orange vinaigrette and cod with tomatoes, olives and parsley. Meat fans can still find something to enjoy be it haggis or an Aberdeen Angus burger. Vegetarians are well catered for too. The Plockton Inn is not short on atmosphere and on Thursdays local musicians get together with guitars, fiddles, accordions and banjos for a good ol’ sing song.
