Outlook is the restaurant of the Cottage in the Wood Hotel, which is situated in an idyllic country setting overlooking the Malvern Hills. The elegant restaurant has a huge Georgian window that looks out over the stunning landscape. Fresh ingredients, sourced locally, produce a blend of classic and modern British cuisine with cleverly composed dishes such as home smoked duck breast, salad of duck egg, pickled chicory, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and sesame dressed leaves or marinated saddle of venison, parsnip puree and, barley risotto of roasted roots with juniper sauce. The kitchen is happy to provide children’s portions and there is always an interesting vegetarian option. Outlook has extensive cellars and produces a well priced eclectic wine list with a wide choice of Old and New World bottles.
