Michael Caines at ABode Chester

Michael Caines's stylish restaurant at Abode Chester features floor to ceiling windows with fantastic views of the Cheshire countryside and the Welsh hills beyond. There is also a beautiful outdoor terrace, which being on the fifth floor, overlooks Chester’s racecourse. Michael Caines has created a modern British menu using the best of local Cheshire produce to create an exciting array of regionally-rooted dishes. There is a special grazing menu in addition to the a la carte and seven course tasting menu. The Grazing menu offers smaller portions of dishes from the main menu like pan-roasted monkfish tail with mussel leek fondue and saffron cream or roast Goosnargh duck breast, game hollandaise and celeriac chips which can be enjoyed in the restaurant or the nearby champagne bar.
