This intimate restaurant has a buzzy atmosphere and strong local following. Chef Patron Eli Leconte offers French cuisine without the 'Nouvelle', so expect fine but hearty French dishes such as frog legs in tomato and garlic butter; terrine maison and toast with homemade chutney or a rich, slow cooked lamb confit with onions and dauphinoise potatoes. There is a sunny terrace outside, perfect for al fresco dining in summer, while inside the restaurant is simply decorated with cream carpets and wooden tables and the occasional piece of artwork or gilt-framed mirror hung against cream or red walls. All food is made fresh on the premises, except for the cheese and ice cream. Game is offered as a speciality when in season.
