A small corner of Paris has been transported to the regal surroundings of Hove in this snug French style bistro with an appealing courtyard for a touch of cafe culture. Expect to find classics such as mains of beouf bourguinon or cassoulet Toulousain sitting next to each other on the menu. A charcuterie tapas style sharing board featuring aged cured meats from Normandy and Spain makes a convivial starter. If you prefer to keep your food to yourself there are a number of starters available including red onion and anchovy pissaladiere. The dexterity of the chef is truly demonstrated with the fluffy meringue quenelles sitting on top of a vanilla scented crème anglaise in the iles flotant dessert. As expected, French vineyards lead the way on the wine list.
