The little sister of the acclaimed Pied à Terre, L’Autre Pied is a bijou fine dining restaurant located just off Marylebone High Street. The ambience is informal and relaxed; backlit flower-patterned glass panels, silk wallpaper, bare rose wood tables and linen napkins combine to create a chic, clean cut decor. Delicate dishes like pan fried cod, sauté of baby artichokes, wild celery and crab emulsion and pressed belly of suckling pig with tender stem broccoli, bergamot lemon puree and pink grapefruit emulsion are presented as if works of art by the talented young chef. The food is ambitious with imaginative flavour combinations to be found on the good value lunch and early evening menu as well as the tasting menu which has a special vegetarian version.
