The Lasan is an award-winning restaurant, which is considered to be among the best Indian restaurants in the country. The cuisine is modern and innovative not only in the richness of its flavour but also through the healthiness of its low salt and low fat content. Aktar Islam, the head chef and co-owner, produces interesting contemporary dishes such as masala beef with curried pumpkin and masala chicken with mint chutney. The interior’s thoughtful mixture of chic industrial polished concrete floors and exotic Eastern floor length gold curtains suggests that the eating experience will be a special occasion. The wine list has been compiled to provide a good range of wines that will compliment the spice-laden flavours of Indian food. There are several wines that are offered by the glass.
