La Petite Auberge

For almost twenty years, chef/proprietor Hubert Martel and his wife have been in residence at La Petite Auberge, serving up seasonal French cuisine in this intimate, 30-cover restaurant. Tasty French classics like snails served in small potatoes with garlic butter and fish soup with rouille and croutons sit alongside veal sweetbreads and monkfish in saffron sauce. This is French food that’s not afraid to be classic, generous and indulgent – expect sauce-led dishes featuring game, meat and fish. Desserts will please sweet tooths too, with such treats as nougat in caramel sauce and caramalised lemon tart. A short, sweet Gallic wine list won’t fail to deliver.
