La Luna is a gem in Goldalming’s crown and is located just off the high street a world away from your traditional pasta and pizza Italian. The stylish, chic, monochrome decor boasts white walls and table cloths, black leather chairs. Service is courteous and charmingly Italian. The menu has a strong Sicilian slant with seafood featuring strongly from antipasti such as scallops in a dry martini sauce to baked sardines with pine nut, dill and sultana stuffing to whole lemon sole with capers and samphire. Every month La Luna has a different regional tasting menu with a seasonal bias. The wine list is proudly Italian and features 150 bins of interesting wines from the plethora of different native grape varieties in Italy and from producers big and small.
