Floor to ceiling windows and retro industrial light fittings set the tone for this buzzy restaurant in the heart of the city. Here you’re going eat Italian food as the Italians do. The kitchen sources the very best Italian ingredients and fresh pasta is made at the restaurant each day. Focaccia is baked twice daily and there is a range of freshly baked traditional breads. Antipasti, consisting of a selection Italian cured meats and cheeses or char grilled vegetables and buffalo mozzarella, are served on wooden planks. Grilled steaks can be ordered with truffled chips in contrast to imaginative pasta dishes such as rabbit ragu pappardelle and traditional fritto misto mare. There is a comprehensive Italian wine list to complement the food as well as a selection of beers.
