The atmosphere in this classic Georgian building is lively, yet relaxed with plenty of tightly packed tables. Jamie’s Italian doesn’t accept bookings for tables under 8 people, so expect a short wait in the bar or browsing the restaurant’s shop before being seated. The presentation is charming; antipasti is served on a wooden plank raised on two tins of Italian tomatoes. The beauty of the menu is the simplicity of the dishes which allows the quality of the impeccably sourced ingredients to shine through as with the signature Truffle Tangliatelle, where the freshly made egg pasta is sprinkled with nutmeg and lashings of truffle and parmesan to great effect.
