Although set in a grand former GPO building the vibe is relaxed and down to earth with dining area that’s open plan, bright and vibrant. You can’t book a table in advance for under 8 people so enjoy a drink in the small bar while you wait for your table. The restaurant is known for good honest Italian food made using superbly sourced ingredients. The roast king scallops are Scottish, sustainable and full of flavour. The presentation is charming; antipasti is served on a wooden plank raised on two tins of Italian tomatoes. Food is part of the décor too with meats, and vegetables dotted around the room providing interest and colour.
