Adorned with original artworks by celebrated artists such as Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst, Hix is a stylish restaurant in the heart of London’s soho. Prior to dinner you could lounge in a leather chesterfield in the basement Mark's apothecary cocktail bar, a real London hot spot. Hix has always cared deeply about the provenance of his ingredients and goes a step further than simply sourcing British produce by using a variety of wild elements in his menu foraged from the hedgerow. The result could be Kentish air-dried lamb with pickled vegetables and chickweed to start or a sea buckthorn berry posset for dessert. Sandwiched in between these courses you may find pan-fried fillets of mackerel with a Heritage tomato and fennel salad. Round off your meal with some cider brandy and Venezuelan black truffles.
