The third culinary gift to London from chefs Chris and Jeff Galvin, Galvin La Chapelle is set in a truly beautiful, awe-inspiring space; a Grade II listed former girl’s school with magnificent vaulted ceilings, arched windows, chandeliers and marble columns. Dark leather banquettes and antique mirrors finish off the luxurious feel. The food has a certain wow factor with dishes such as a refined pigeon tagine (an absolute must-try), Lasagne of Dorset crab and beurre Nantaise and fillet of sea bream, spring vegetable Barigoule executed with the brother’s typical precision and flair. The wine menu is sure to impress and of course includes the restaurant’s namesake a classy Hermitage La Chapelle.
