This smart, contemporary restaurant is situated in the heart of Ilkley. The interior is slick and well designed with dining booths separated with etched glass panels, pastel coloured upholstered chairs around uncovered dark wood tables and modern lighting. The kitchen produces a modern British cuisine that is refined in both execution and presentation. Lunchtime menus are light offering a mixture of composed dishes, risottos, pastas and unusual sandwiches but things get really interesting at dinner where you can sample a salmon, cod and prawn boudin, spinach, caramelised apples and shallot beurre blanc or fillet of beef served on roast parsnip puree with oxtail pithivier, crispy Parma ham and thyme sauce. An eclectic and compact wine list has been carefully chosen to include some interesting wines from both Europe and the New World.
