The focus at Let’s Eat is without question on the food. A comfortable lounge area and contemporary restaurant simply provide a backdrop to Willie Deans’ extensive and ingredient-rich menus. Carte, set price and specials menus convey vibrant, modern and creative Scottish cuisine. His dedication to globally inspired combinations using seasonal ingredients leads to ambitious dishes such as pressed terrine of white fish on vanilla cured Scottish salmon with lobster vinaigrette, lime and vine tomato crème fraiche and red amaranth, or ‘Deans’ breast of corn fed chicken on a sweetcorn and turmeric puree with coconut and basmati pilaf, vegetable pakoras, mild curry and mango cream. Homemade breads, ice creams and chocolates also evidence the care and attention given to the food.
