This red bricked Queen Anne building overlooking an ornamental pond has been providing food and lodging for over 30 years. Prior to dinner you can enjoy a drink in one of two drawing rooms furnished with antiques or in the Bistro bar. The soft pastel hues and the beautiful floral displays make the restaurant an elegant place to dine. The food is in the modern British vein with touches of classic French thrown in for good measure. Your starter could be baked queen scallops with Provencal stuffing. A tender fillet of beef with spinach and Bourguignon sauce could follow after. A warm pecan pie with maple ice cream could tempt you for dessert or perhaps a selection of cheeses from the highly acclaimed cheese trolley.
