Colwall Park is a country house style hotel located in an imposing black and white, half-timbered, house on the Western edge of the Malvern Hills. Pale oak panelling gives a warm glow to the dining room where the glassware twinkles on white linen beneath a vaulted ceiling. Head chef James Garth is committed to sourcing his produce locally. All the meat comes from the long established Hillworth farm including free-range poultry and Gloucester Old Spot pork. Herbs and salad leaves are grown in the kitchen garden. A modern British menu mixes roast stuffed quail, creamed potatoes, spring greens, lentil, chorizo and bean cassoulet with classics such as battered fish and chips. Fresh bread rolls are baked daily in the kitchens. A carefully chosen eclectic wine list sports an excellent selection of fine wines.
