CAU, pronounced ‘cow’ stands for Carne Argentina Única and translates as Unique Argentinean Beef. The Argentines have been breeding Aberdeen Angus beef on the Pampas for almost 200 year,letting it roam free and graze on 17 varieties of grass to produce what is arguably some of the best beef in the world. The decor is contemporary with a bright and breezy feel and has landscape murals of blue skies and grass on the walls. For a carnivorous treat try the house speciality, Yerba-Smoked beef to start and the king of steaks, Tira de Ancho, for mains, which is an 18oz spiral cut of ribeye, marinated in chimichurri and grilled slowly for maximum tenderness.
