Brockencote Hall is a Victorian Country Manor House estate set in 70 acres of stunning countryside complete with a lake, dovecote and some fine specimen trees. The restaurant is a distinctly French affair offering a mix of traditional and seasonal specialities. The fixed price menu presents great value, try the Tea Poached Salmon Rillette with Cucumber Crème Fraiche, Chervil and Caviar Salad to start, the Sirloin Pave of Hereford Beef with Confit Shallots, Wilted Greens, Pont Neuf Potatoes and Port Wine Sauce for main course and finish with Vanilla Pannacotta served with Confit Orange, Raspberries and Kirsch Sabayon. The restaurant boasts an excellent wine cellar which is dominated by French labels. The sommelier prides himself on selecting wines which offer excellent value for money.
