Raymond Blanc of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons’ fame has brought his exquisite fine dining a little more down to earth for his City brasserie. The upmarket styling with brown leather seats and banquettes, pale yellow walls and bright modern artwork and mezzanine floor, combine to help make the high ceiling space a little more intimate. Expect to see a cheese soufflé with pear and walnut on the starter menu and choose from mains like Toulouse sausages and mash with onion gravy or Raymond’s smoked haddock, leek and gruyere fish cake.
