Bradleys Restaurant is situated in the old Conservative Club building in a quiet corner of Huddersfield city centre. Bare polished floor boards, slick black chairs and polished wood tables give this split level, bright modern restaurant a stylish look. The kitchen produces well constructed modern British cuisine with some Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences. Starters might include a warm confit of duck salad with a sweet chilli dressing or a turmeric tuna bhaji with mango salsa. Main courses are more classic, offering pork loin steak with mushroom and bacon, or grilled salmon with chive caper butter. Desserts include a local Yorkshire parkin with butterscotch sauce and Bakewell tart with clotted cream. An interestingly chosen wine list offers a good selection from the new and old world.
