For most people, dinner at Raymond Blanc's temple of fine dining Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons is a once in a lifetime treat. But a meal at his casual French brasserie is an altogether more affordable option. Housed in a stunning conversion of a Georgian Quaker meeting house, the central location makes it a perfect destination for a business lunch or a restorative bite after shopping. Francophiles will appreciate classic dishes such as Burgundian snails in garlic herb butter and pork rillettes with apple and pear chutney, while the list of grills that includes a 10oz free range sirloin steak and chips will please dedicated carnivores. Look out for the bargain two or three course set Dine with Wine menu with an option to upgrade with a glass of wine or champagne.
