Overview

This 16th century Tudor manor house with Georgian and Victorian influences is home to two restaurants; the fine dining Equilibrium and this more relaxed option. Don't worry, there's no lack of luxury with linen covering the well spaced tables and comfortable upholstered armchairs to settle into.

What cuisine is on offer at Brasserie?

The head chef places authenticity at the core of the kitchen, securing the most high-quality ingredients from reliable, local suppliers. The menu is updated seasonally and is defined by vibrant flavours, fresh textures. Guests can enjoy a traditional and contemporary combination with classic afternoon tea in the Tudor Great Hall, or contemporary British cuisine in the Cedar Restaurant. The Tudor Bar offers a comfortable retreat to eat a light lunch or to have a cocktail before dinner.

What is the signature dish at Brasserie?

Orchard reared pork cutlet and loin of Highland venison are just a couple of Head Chef, Paul Soczowka specialties.

What makes a meal at Brasserie unique?

Situated on the ground floor of the South Wing, the dining area, with its beamed ceiling, exposed brickwork, and fireplace, was built at the beginning of the 16th century. To enhance the period features, the Cedar Restaurant has been thoughtfully decorated with hung tapestries, wall lanterns and antique-style furniture complementing the historical surroundings.
